SATURDAY UPDATES: State reports 645 new COVID-19 cases

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

ORIGINAL: The Department of Health and Senior Services has reported 470,752 cases of Coronavirus in Missouri. The state dashboard reported 645 new cases on Saturday.

Missouri ranked 27th in the nation for new cases reported in the past week.

DHSS also reported 11 new deaths related to the virus. The death toll has reached 7,453.

Missouri ranked 36th in the nation for new deaths reported in the past week on Saturday.

There were 1,490 people hospitalized with the virus on Saturday.
