Man arrested after short chase in Gasconade County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Christopher Grant is recovering in the Franklin County Jail after flipping his vehicle following a police chase in Owensville.

Owensville Police allegedly initiated the pursuit for Grant's outstanding warrants.

Grant lost control of his vehicle after entering a curve at a high rate of speed. The vehicle began skidding before striking a driveway and overturning.

According to the crash report, Grant sustained moderate injuries.

Grant has since been transported to Franklin County Jail and is being held on outstanding warrants.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by Owensville PD at the scene.
