North Columbia shooting leaves one with life-threatening injury

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police are investigating after one person was injured in a north Columbia shooting early Monday.

Columbia Police officers on the scene said they were called to the 2700 block of Quail Drive around 2:10 a.m. Monday for multiple reports of shots fired.

When they arrived, officers found evidence of a shooting and one person with life-threatening injuries. That person was taken to the hospital for advanced care, officers said.

Police said they did not have any suspect information to release. The investigation is ongoing.
