SATURDAY UPDATES: State reports 676 COVID-19 related deaths
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
UPDATE 8:30 P.M.: The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 11,752 cases of COVID-19 Saturday.
The state is reporting 676 deaths related to the virus.
At least 148,303 people in the state have been tested for Coronavirus.
ORIGINAL: Boone County and Callaway County reported new cases of COVID-19 Saturday.
The Columbia/Boone County Health Department reported 115 total cases of the virus Saturday.
The health department reported 16 active cases.
In Callaway County, the health department reported one new case of the virus, bringing the total there to 23.
The department reported two active cases Saturday.
The new case Saturday is the first increase in cases in Callaway County since May 1.
