Jerron Daily

Authorities arrested two men after finding two stolen guns in their car, according to court documents.

A Missouri State Trooper pulled over Jerron Daily early Thursday morning in Callaway County, court documents said. While pulling the car over, the trooper said he saw items being thrown from the vehicle. The trooper said he also smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Court documents said the trooper called for backup and searched the vehicle, where he found a Smith and Wesson MP9C handgun, which was reported stolen from Powder Horn Guns and Sporting Goods in Columbia.

Authorities said they later found a second gun along with 34 ecstasy pills and 2 grams of cocaine.

Troopers arrested Daily and his passenger, Deangelo Porter.

Court records show Daily has multiple convictions including delivery/manufacture of imitation drugs and felony possession of a firearm.

Porter also has a criminal history including tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and assault, according to court records.
