Callaway County deputies arrest man hiding in a “deep freeze”

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office said deputies went to the 3000 block of Hilltop Drive near Fulton for a fugitive investigation.

Charles Bentley, 55, of Fulton allegedly had numerous felony warrants out of Callaway County for charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, drugs, and assault.

During the search, deputies said they found Bentley hiding in a "deep freeze." Authorities say he was taken into custody and taken to the Callaway County Jail. He is being held without bond.
