A Boone County prosecutor has charged a Columbia man with kidnapping and other crimes after he allegedly held a woman against her will on March 10.

Larry Thomas is charged with two counts of first-degree kidnapping, two counts of third-degree domestic assault, one count of second-degree domestic assault, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, four counts of armed criminal action, one count of first-degree robbery, one count of first-degree harassment and one count of fourth-degree domestic assault.

According to court documents, Thomas threatened the victim with a gun in her own home and attacked her.

Thomas also allegedly busted her lip open, choked her with a phone cord, tried to stab her with a knife, and dragged her through the house.

Thomas is being held in Boone County Jail without bond. Thomas does not have a defense attorney according to online court records at this time.
