Toddler flown to University Hospital after dog attack
A 2-year-old from the Wellsville and Martinsburg area was flown to University Hospital Thursday night with serious injuries after a dog attack.
The 5-year-old rottweiler that attacked the toddler was the family’s dog. The dog was seized by the sheriff’s department and will be put down in 10 days per state statute.
If the family chooses, they can file a petition to halt the euthanasia.
