Woman hurt after hitting tow truck on I-70 in Callaway County
CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A woman was hurt on Sunday afternoon after she crashed into a tow truck parked on the shoulder of westbound Interstate 70.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by Helen L. Gabris, 57, of St. Peters, Missouri, crashed into the back of the tow truck near the 153.6-mile marker just before 5 p.m.
According to the crash report, the tow truck had its emergency lights turned on.
Troopers said Gabris hit a third car after she drove the pickup truck back onto the interstate.
Crews took Gabris by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia with moderate injuries. MU Health Care told ABC 17 News on Monday morning that Gabris is in fair condition.

No one else was hurt in the crash.
According to the highway patrol, Gabris was wearing a seat belt.
