Man seriously hurt in multi-car crash in Moniteau County

MONITEAU Co. (KMIZ)

A California, Missouri man was seriously hurt in a multi-car crash in Moniteau County on Monday night.

According to the MSHP crash report, the crash happened at 5:12 p.m. when a truck tried to make a left turn on U.S. 50 at Business 50 East Junction, and went into the path of another car. This caused cargo from the truck to hit a third car.

A 55-year-old man from the second car was seriously hurt in the crash and taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital.

The other people in the crash were not hurt.
