Teenage driver killed in Callaway County crash
CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo (KMIZ)
A 15-year-old boy died after a crash in Callaway County on Thursday afternoon.
Troopers said the wreck happened on Route AA near County Road 4006 around 3:40 p.m.
According to a crash report, the teenager was driving northbound on Route AA when the car went off the road and overturned.
Troopers said the driver was thrown from the vehicle. The Boone County Medical Examiner pronounced the teenager dead at the scene. According to the report, he was not wearing a seat belt.
No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said this is Troop F's second traffic-related death this month and the 47th this year.
