Man injured after falling out of the back of a truck in Randolph County

HUNTSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 67-year-old man was injured Wednesday evening after he fell out of the bed of a truck.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Charlie Neice, 67, of Derby, Iowa, was riding in the back of a truck when he fell out of the truck bed when the vehicle turned left onto Route C from Liberty Street in Huntsville.

According to the report, an ambulance took Neice to University Hospital for treatment for his serious injuries.

University Hospital spokesperson Eric Maze says Neice remains in serious condition at the hospital Thursday morning.
