Three injured after a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning in Cole County

COLE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people are seriously injured and one person is moderately injured after a two-vehicle crash on Route B, south of Schulte Lane in Cole County Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Zion Strickland was driving a 2018 Chevy Malibu and tried to pass another vehicle when it hit a 2012 Nissan Rogue.

The crash report indicates the Rogue overturned and came to a rest on its top.

The Malibu drove off the side of the road and hit a fence.

Strickland was reported to have moderate injuries. A passenger in the Malibu, Lexis Strutton is reported to have serious injuries.

The driver of the Rogue, Haylee Smith has serious injuries as well.

All three were taken by ambulance to University Hospital.
