One person dead after pedestrian crash near Midway
BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash Sunday morning in Boone County near Midway.
According to the MSHP Crash Reports, an unknown vehical was driving east on I-70. The driver hit 27-year-old Zachary Isbell of Columbia near mile marker 121
The driver left the scene of the crash.
Isbell was pronounced dead at the scene, and taken to the Boone County Medical Examiner's office.
Troop F is asking anyone with information about the driver or the crash to contact the patrol's office at 573-751-1000.
This is Troop F's 5th fatality in May and 22nd of 2021.
