One person was hurt after police responded to multiple shootings in Fulton on Sunday

According to a press release from Fulton Police Department, officers responded to a call near the 300 block of West 5th Street for shots fired, around 7 a.m. on Sunday. No injuries or suspects were reported at that time, but property damage was found.

Later on Sunday around 1:30 p.m. officers received another call for shots fired in the 700 block of Jefferson Street.

During this investigation, one person was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Four people were detained for questioning. It's unclear if any arrests have been made, or if anyone has been charged.

One neighbor told ABC17 News his truck was struck by two bullets during the gunfire.

FPD says the Callaway County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol helped with the investigation.

The release stated the department does not feel there is a danger to the public at this time.

ABC17 News crews on the seen saw police were speaking with people in the area and had tape up in the area.

Officers were also at the scene collecting evidence and taking photos of the area.
