Jamestown man seriously hurt after crash in Cooper County

COOPER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 60-year-old Jamestown man was seriously hurt after a crash in Cooper County just before 4 p.m. Thursday, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states the man was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado south on MO 179, just north of Campbell Bridge Dr., when the truck went off the right side of the road, hit an embankment and flipped over.

The man was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The Silverado was totaled. The report states the man was not wearing a seatbelt.
