One person pulled from vehicle following I-70 crash in Callaway County

KINGDOM CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person was pulled from a two-vehicle crash Thursday on Interstate 70 in Callaway County, Callaway County EMS wrote on its social media.

The crash occurred in the eastbound driving lane at mile marker 152, posts from Callaway County EMS and the Missouri State Highway Patrol say. MSHP posted about the crash at 11:55 a.m. and stated traffic was backed up for three miles.

The person pulled from the crash was brought to University Hospital in Columbia, Callaway County EMS wrote.

MSHP wrote that the road was back open at 12:35 p.m.
