MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One woman was seriously injured in a crash in Morgan County on Thursday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

According to a crash report, a 2001 Ford Ranger – driven by Zachary Johnson, 33, of Lebanon, Missouri – was heading northbound on Highway 135 near Westwood Drive when it crossed the center line. Johnson overcorrected twice and the Ford overturned, the report says.

The passenger in the vehicle – Lorilee Gutierrez, 54, of Lebanon – had serious injuries, while Johnson had moderate injuries, the report says. Neither were wearing seatbelts. Both were flown to University Hospital, the report says.

An arrest report says Johnson is accused of driving while suspended and failing to drive on the right side of the road.

An MU Health Care spokesperson said Johnson was treated and released, while Gutierrez is in serious condition.
