Portland, Missouri man seriously injured in motorcycle crash Sunday

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Portland, Mo. man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Callaway County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Michel Thuli, 51, was riding his motorcycle on Route WW west of Millersburg at 3:25 p.m. The crash occurred when Thuli failed to negotiate a sharp curve, causing his motorcycle to cross the center of the road.

Thuli's motorcycle hit another vehicle, driven by Kayla Garwood, 32, of Fulton.

Garwood was not injured in the crash, while Thuli suffered serious injuries.

Thuli was wearing a helmet was at the time of the crash, Troopers said.
