COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Fulton woman was seriously injured Monday night in a motorcycle crash in northern Boone County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash report states that Sherri Zajdel, 57, crashed a 2020 Harley Davidson while heading southbound on Route Z about half a mile north of Rob Cook Road. Zajdel turned the Harley south onto Route Z from a private road, the report says.

Zajdel accelerated the Harley and it went off the right side of the road and overturned, the report says. Zajdel was ejected from the bike. Zajdel was wearing a helmet, the report says. She was brought to University Hospital by ambulance.
