Tracking snow moving in this morning

TUESDAY: Snow will start falling for the morning commute. While slick spots won’t be widespread, take it slow on the roads since those slushy spots could sneak up on you. That snow will transition over to a mix of snow and rain into the afternoon before tapering off this evening. Highs will struggle to warm much at all, only making it to 40.

TONIGHT: Skies look to clear out pretty quickly after the precipitation ends. This will lead to a widespread freeze with overnight lows tumbling all the way down into the upper 20’s.

EXTENDED: After a cold start tomorrow, temperatures try to rebound with some more sunshine into the low 50’s. A few stray sprinkles will be possible toward the afternoon, but nothing heavy. Another cold night though will unfold with partly to mostly clear skies bringing lows into the low 30’s. Thursday’s looking quiet with highs in the 50’s before rain chances move back in overnight. Those look to stick with us to close out the work week, with a few rumbles of thunder possible. Some of that could spill over into Saturday, but most should be out by the weekend, giving us a chance to get back to some more normal temperatures. Highs will work their way into the low to mid 60’s.
