Tracking storms overnight, more comfortable next few days

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms likely. Lows in the mid-upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Clouds gradually decrease with highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: Rain and storms return to Mid-Missouri late tonight ahead of a cold front, likely after 10:00 p.m. A few of these storms could produce high rainfall rates and 40-50 mph winds as our severe risk will be low overnight. Much of Mid-Missouri is in a level 1/5 severe risk for a few isolated strong storms. Storms will exit/diminish to the southeast before sunrise, leaving us with some clouds to start the day tomorrow. We'll have lower humidity the rest of the week and gusty northwest winds on Thursday, but temperatures remain in the lower 80s. We could see chances for rain over the weekend, but severe weather isn't expected and we'll have dry time in between. Temperatures will likely be around 60 at night and near 80 in the afternoons.
