Tracking a sunny afternoon and rest of the week

TODAY: Conditions clear out right in time for the holiday with mostly sunny skies and seasonal temperatures today. Highs top out in the upper 70s with a UV index up to 9 meaning sunburn is possible in less than 20 minutes.

TOMORROW: Skies stay sunny getting back to work on Tuesday with repeat temperatures in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: Dry weather persists through at least Thursday while highs remain seasonal near the 80 mark. An active pattern picks back up into the weekend but rainfall doesn't look widespread in the current long term forecast. Temperatures will warm with this pattern change as we push into the 80s into early June.
