Tracking one more round of storms before dry weather
TONIGHT: I'm tracking storms forming along and to the south of I-70. These will continue to move to the east/southeast throughout the evening, exiting the viewing area by 7-8 PM. There is a severe threat associated with these thunderstorms. If storms do become severe, large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes are all possible. After this main line of storms, another rogue shower or two is possible through the overnight hours, but these do not have severe potential.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking a dry and mostly sunny Memorial Day with temperatures warming up into the low 80s by the afternoon hours. It will be a great day to go out and enjoy the weather after this active weekend.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking a dry and mostly sunny pattern sticking around through the first half of the week. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s and low 80s every day this week. Towards the end of the week, low rain chances (20%) return and last into the weekend. Confidence is not high that coverage of rainfall will be widespread at this point.
