Tracking a warm next few days, with winter precipitation approaching

Tonight: Winds will switch from the southwest to the northwest leading to a cooler breeze after midnight. The overnight lows drop into the mid-'20s with partly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies and continuous winds out of the northwest Sunday leads to highs around 40 degrees.

Extended: Monday looks to be exceptionally warm with highs into the mid-50's. Tuesday morning an approaching low-pressure system brings in moisture and begins as rain showers early. By the evening hours on Tuesday, temperatures begin to fall leading to a change to a wintery mix. This mix will continue Tuesday night and eventually switch over to snow by Wednesday lasting through Thursday mid-day. Thursday night lows approach zero degrees.
