Tracking a temperature roller coaster
TONIGHT
High pressure slides in tonight, helping to clear skies, and eventually turn winds more southerly. An increasingly southern breeze preps us for a warm day on Tuesday.
TUESDAY
Temperatures start in the low 30's tomorrow, giving temperatures a great starting point to climb well above average by the afternoon. More clouds move in for the afternoon, but not before we climb into the low 50's.
EXTENDED
Temperatures come crashing back down into Wednesday. Temperatures likely fall all day, dropping us into the mid 20's by the afternoon. We keep cooling off into the single digits Wednesday night and can only muster the teens Thursday. Wind chills both Wednesday and Thursday nights will be below zero. We start to climb on Friday, getting into the upper 20’s. We’ll keep the warming trend going into Saturday with the upper 30’s returning only to back off into the low 30’s Sunday. Between now and the extended period, only very minimal precipitation chances exist. It look like a dry week ahead.
