Tracking a warmup into Christmas weekend

TONIGHT: High pressure over head will slide east and winds will swing out of the south this evening. That will help keep temperatures propped up in the mid to upper 30’s overnight.

THURSDAY: South winds will start to pick up a bit more on Thursday. That will push the warm weather back into Mid-Missouri. Highs tomorrow will reach the low 60’s, and temperatures into early Friday only dip into the mid-40's.

EXTENDED: Despite a few more clouds, Christmas Eve shows up warm, with highs in the upper 60's. A front will pass through early on Christmas, dropping afternoon highs back into the upper 50’s and low 60’s. We’ll be about that warm on Sunday, as you travel home. Rain chances are trying to enter the forecast as early as Sunday, but right now aren’t a slam dunk. Temperatures will hold on to the 50’s for the first part of the week, before coming back down by Wednesday.
