Tracking near record warmth, and a return to cooler weather
TONIGHT: Breezy conditions and clouds will stay with us tonight. Lows will bottom out around 60 tonight so we’ll be off to a very warm start tomorrow.
TOMORROW: Wednesday looks windy and warm. An approaching system will send non-thunderstorm winds gusting as high as 40 mph at times. This will feed warmer air into the region getting our temperatures back into the 70's. We will also see limited ingredients that may make for some stronger storms Wednesday night. A cold front will sweep through Wednesday evening just after sunset, from west to east, bringing with it a line of thunderstorms. We could see some damaging winds with this line, but it's important to emphasize, this setup is nothing like the system we tracked on Friday. Still, it's something we will track as we get closer.
EXTENDED: That line will clear the area by midnight with a few leftover showers overnight. We’re dry on Thursday but the rain chances return on Friday and look to linger throughout the day. Highs on Thursday and Friday will top out around 50. We cool back off on Saturday, with highs stuck in the 30’s as we dry out with a blustery start to the weekend. Temperatures will only manage the low 40’s on Sunday.
