Tracking another mild, breezy afternoon

staying warm
KMIZ

TUESDAY: A warm start will help us out a little more by the afternoon with a southerly breeze kicking in. Highs today will make it into the low to mid 60’s, despite some more clouds. A stray shower or two will be possible this afternoon under those clouds.

TONIGHT: The breeze and clouds will stay with us tonight. Lows will only bottom out around 60 tonight so we’ll be off to a very warm start tomorrow.

EXTENDED: Temperatures will make it into the 70’s tomorrow with the wind picking up even more. Gusts will approach 35-40 mph at times on Wednesday. Shortly after sunset, a line of storms will push in from the northwest. There is a slim chance these remain organized enough to bring a damaging wind threat with them. That line will clear the area by midnight with a few leftover showers overnight. We’re dry on Thursday but the rain chances return on Friday and look to linger throughout the day. Highs on Thursday and Friday will top out around 50. We cool back off on Saturday, with highs stuck in the 30’s as we dry out with a blustery start to the weekend. Temperatures will only manage the low 40’s on Sunday.
