Tracking a frigid start to Black Friday before a warm up this weekend

THANKSGIVING EVENING: After a chilly Thanksgiving day, the overnight hours dip even colder. Despite relaxing winds, we keep a slight breeze out of the north and skies remain clear. Expect a bitter start early Friday with temperatures dropping into the low 20's, with wind chills possibly in the teens. If you are waiting in any Black Friday lines, you're going to want to really bundle up.

TOMORROW: Cold start for early shoppers with lows in the low 20s. A warmup kicks in with the return of southerly winds and highs reach close to 50 degrees. Expect mostly sunny skies.

EXTENDED: Our warm up continues Saturday as we climb back into the upper 50s. It will be a great day for Small Business Saturday shopping or holiday decorating. Sunday is a bit cooler as a fast-moving weak system slides in from the north. We'll notice a few more clouds due to that Saturday night but remain dry into Sunday with highs near 50. Next week starts off mild with highs in the upper 50s Monday and Tuesday, and largely quiet weather until the end of the week.
