Tracking a soggy weekend

FRIDAY: We’ll get a little more time to soak in some sunshine this morning. That quickly gets replaces by clouds moving in by noon. A few showers will be possible into the afternoon with highs in the upper 60’s.

TONIGHT: A few showers will still be possible tonight, but will still be of the hit-and-miss variety. Temperatures will hold steady in the middle 50’s.

EXTENDED: Some more widespread showers and thunderstorms moves in early Saturday. That wave looks to stay with us into the afternoon before thinning out in coverage toward the evening with highs in the 60’s. Another disturbance will spark some more showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. Those look to favor the southern half of Missouri, along the frontal boundary. We’ll keep the chance of rain around on Monday before sliding the boundary south of the viewing area Tuesday. Highs will top out in the 70’s. That boundary lifts back north, bringing back the showers and storms Wednesday into Thursday.
