Tracking one more fantastic day before rain chances return

sunshine

THURSDAY: After a chilly start we rebound nicely this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 60’s.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will stick around. Lows will fall into the middle 40’s.

EXTENDED: A dying complex of storms will move in from out west. At the very least, we’ll pick up some more clouds into Friday, but the threat for a few showers will be there after midday. Temperatures will still manage to top out in the mid to upper 60’s. A brief lull in the rain chances is expected Saturday morning but they’ll return by the afternoon. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible, which will stick around into Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will push into the upper 60’s and low 70’s despite the rain. That’s where things will hold into next week, along with the chance for showers and thunderstorms. Tuesday of next week looks to be the best bet to stay dry all day, but is still subject to change this far out. Rainfall amounts look to add up to 2-3” over much of the area over the next 7 days.
