Tracking showers this morning, clearer afternoon

TODAY: We kick off the weekend with showers and rumbles of thunder throughout the morning. Most of these will exit the area just after noon, with highs reaching the mid to low 60s. Breezes will stick around with gusts from 15-20 mph possible. By the evening, clouds will begin to push out quickly and lows bottom out in the low 40s overnight.

TOMORROW: We wake up to clear skies for Sunday to help highs reach the upper 60s by the afternoon. Expect breezes to return again with gusts around 20 mph.

EXTENDED: Monday continues our warmup with temperatures soaring to the low 80s by the afternoon! That's the last clear day we see, though, as chances for rain pop up Tuesday afternoon. Showers and storms may be moving through from Tuesday through Thursday evening, but temperatures won't suffer too much. We get a shot at the 80s again on Tuesday and see the 70s on Wednesday. Once this all clears out by next weekend, highs will be left in the mid-60s again.
