Tracking hit-or-miss rain chances this weekend

TODAY: Isolated showers linger through early afternoon but most stay dry today. Highs reach at or just below 80 degrees.

TOMORROW: Sunday begins dry before showers and storms track in from the west in the early afternoon. These will already be fizzling out as they arrive so most of us manage to stay dry through the day again. Highs rise into the mid-80s.

EXTENDED: Better chances for showers and storms build back into the region from Monday to Wednesday with highs remaining in the 80s. However, the long term forecast looks drier and cooler than average thanks to a summer blocking pattern developing to our southwest.
