Tracking another big warmup for midweek

TONIGHT: After yet another warmer than average day, temperatures overnight will stay mild. Expect mostly clear conditions, with temperatures dropping into the mid-40's.

TUESDAY: Skies will cloud up a bit on Tuesday. Some sunshine will likely peak through, but overall mostly cloudy skies are expected. Despite the extra shade, an influx of warmth from southerly winds will boost temperatures even higher, into the upper 60's.

EXTENDED: We approach December records on Wednesday in the middle 70’s. A cold front will put an end to all of that Wednesday evening. It will also bring a line of showers and storms with it for the overnight hours. Right now, it doesn’t appear that these will be severe, but it’s something we’ll be tracking. That rain’s out of here Thursday morning, leaving us in the upper 40’s and low 50’s into Friday. Cooler weather will push in this weekend, brushing back highs into the 30’s Saturday, warming into the low 40’s Sunday.
