Tracking spot showers and storms

THURSDAY: Rain will be off and on throughout the morning, but looks to thin out by this afternoon. Some showers and storms will try to redevelop this afternoon, but look to stay west. Most of us should stay dry through the evening before another round moves in tonight. Highs will top out in the upper 70’s to low 80’s with a stout southerly breeze.

TONIGHT: Showers return tonight, but appear to stay on the light side. Lows fall into the mid to upper 60’s.

EXTENDED: Those showers will likely spill over into Friday morning before thinning out again towards the afternoon in coverage. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible, but nothing severe. Once those clear up Friday evening, we should stay dry for a decent stretch including this weekend. High pressure will set up overhead, steering disturbances around us through Monday. It will stay warm and a bit muggy, with highs stretching into the mid to upper 80’s. Our weekend-saving high will relax a bit around Tuesday of next week, opening the door for more rain chances into the middle of the week.
