Tracking heat and humidity, low storm chances for Friday and the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with an isolated shower or storm. Lows in the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s. Isolated shower or storms possible, especially west of Highway 63.

EXTENDED: We dry out completely for the weekend with a strong upper high pressure forcing its way back west, bringing our warmest temperatures of the week. Highs get into the mid-upper 80s both days with sunshine overhead. Next week starts off warmer than average with highs in the 80s, but as this upper pattern begins to flatten early in the week, we'll cool temperatures into the upper 70s to lower 80s as a cold front approaches early Wednesday. That will bring another chance for rain and storms mid-week, with 0.5" to 1" possible over the next 7 days.
