Tracking one last cool day

THURSDAY: We’re getting off to the coldest start we’ve felt in a few weeks. High pressure is settling overhead, which will settle the winds down today, but won’t bring some warm air back until tomorrow. Highs today will top out in the upper 40’s and low 50’s again, even with a healthy dose of sunshine.

TONIGHT: Those clear skies will stick with us, leading to another cold night. Lows will bottom out in the upper 20’s, so keep those plants inside or covered!

EXTENDED: Winds return out of the south tomorrow, warming highs in to the low 60’s with that sun staying with us. We do even better into this holiday weekend, with the 70’s returning Saturday and Sunday. We’ll keep temperatures in the middle 70’s going forward, with a few of us threatening 80 into next week. Rain chances look minimal, and will hold off until late Tuesday into Wednesday.
