Three-star linebacker commits to Mizzou Football

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Football has added another defensive player to its 2025 recruiting class. Jason King, a three-star linebacker from St. Louis, is keeping his talents in the Show Me State after committing to the Tigers on Saturday afternoon. King had offers from Arkansas, Tennessee, Kansas State, Baylor, Kansas and others.

According to 247 Sports, the 6-foot-1, 210-pound recruit is the No. 13 ranked prospect in Missouri and No. 90 linebacker in the nation. He is listed as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports, Rivals and On3.

King was an All-Metro selection during the 2023-24 campaign, posting 90 total tackles and 15 tackles for loss last season at DeSmet High School.

Eli Drinkwitz and his coaching staff have now secured six commitments to their 2025 recruiting class, including four players on the defensive side of the ball. 247 Sports ranks Mizzou's class, which includes two four-star and four three-star prospects, at No. 27 in the nation.
