Mizzou adds offensive lineman through transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Eli Drinkwitz and his coaching staff have made another splash in the transfer portal, adding an offensive tackle with four years of college experience to the offensive line room. Marcus Bryant, who was considered the best remaining offensive tackle in the transfer portal by On3, is transferring from SMU to Mizzou.

Bryant played the last four seasons with the Mustangs, and during the 2023-24 campaign, he made 13 appearances and was in the starting lineup in 10 games. The 6-foot-8, 318-pound offensive lineman also earned First Team All-AAC honors last season.

On3 lists Bryant as a three-star transfer and the No. 7 overall ranked offensive tackle, who has put their name in the transfer portal this offseason. He has just one year of eligibility remaining.
