Eight Mizzou Tigers earn invitations to NFL Combine

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The National Football League unveiled its list of draft prospects who were invited to participate in the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Of those 321 names, eight of them are Mizzou Tigers. Cody Schrader, Javon Foster, Darius Robinson, Ty'Ron Hopper, Kris Abrams-Draine, Jaylon Carlies, Ennis Rakestraw Jr. and Harrison Mevis all received invitations.

Schrader, Foster, Robinson and Abrams-Draine recently competed in the Reese's Senior Bowl while Carlies and Mevis played in the East-West Shrine Bowl about two weeks ago. Robinson was named the "Overall Practice Player of the Week" by NFL scouts and front office executives at the Reese's Senior Bowl, and Mevis was selected to the All-East Practice Team at the East-West Shrine Bowl. In game action, Cody Schrader posted five catches for 54 receiving yards and seven carries for 12 rushing yards down in Mobile, Alabama.

The NFL Combine will kick off in Indianapolis, starting on Feb. 26 and last through March 4. Mizzou's NFL Combine invitees will hope to hear their name called when the 2024 NFL Draft begins on April 25.
