Tyler Stephens announces return for 2024 season

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou tight end Tyler Stephens is returning to the Tigers for another season. Stephens announced on social media on Thursday night that he will be using another year of eligibility to play football for the Tigers in 2024.

Stephens has played the past two seasons with the Tigers, appearing in 25 games. In his Tiger career, the senior has posted 10 catches for 103 receiving yards and one touchdown.

After Stephens' announcement, Mizzou is expected to have both of its top tight ends back for the 2024 football season. Stephens and Brett Norfleet finished the 2023 season with the most receiving yards and touchdowns among Mizzou's active tight ends.
