COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. will run it back with the Tigers in 2024. Wease Jr. announced on social media on Thursday that he will be coming back to play another season with Mizzou.

Wease Jr. emerged as one of Brady Cook's top two targets after transferring from Oklahoma to Mizzou last season. In 2023, the Tiger wide receiver posted 49 catches for 682 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

With Wease Jr. returning for another season, Mizzou's top five leaders in receiving yards are all currently coming back for the 2024 season: Luther Burden III, Wease Jr., Mookie Cooper, Marquis Johnson and Brett Norfleet.
