COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team has now lost two players to the transfer portal.

On Tuesday, Jefferson City native Hannah Linthacum became the second player from the 2025-26 roster to announce her entry into the transfer portal. She joined guard Shannon Dowell, who made her announcement earlier in the day.

Linthacum's time in Columbia will come to a close after three seasons in the black and gold. The forward did not play in her junior season, earning a redshirt, but averaged 1.9 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in her sophomore campaign.

She comes from a long line of Tigers, as both of her sisters (Sarah and Micah) played basketball at MU. Additionally, great grandpa, grandpa and dad all played football at Mizzou, as well.

The former Jeff City Lady Jay joined the Tigers after winning the Missouri Class 5 Gatorade Player of the Year award in her final high school season.
