BATON ROUGE, La. (KMIZ)

No. 9 Mizzou Gymnastics has recorded 197.000+ team scores in back-to-back meets.

The Tigers (6-3) finished Friday's meet with a 197.125 score, the team's second-highest tally of the 2025 campaign, but fell to No. 3 LSU (5-2), who hit the 198.000-mark at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

MU posted a season-best team score in its first rotation. The team tallied a 49.350 on bars, led by Mara Titarsolej who earned a share of the event title with her 9.925 routine. The Netherlands native has now reached the 9.900-mark on bars in three of the last four meets. Amari Celestine also hit the 9.900-mark with her performance, and collectively, every Mizzou gymnast earned a 9.825 or better in this event.

Hannah Horton also claimed a share of an event title during the meet, recording a season-high 9.925 on vault to pace the Tigers on that apparatus. MU finished with a 49.175 score in that event.

All six of Mizzou's performers scored 9.825 or better on floor during the team's third rotation. Jocelyn Moore's 9.900 routine was the highest on the team but was five hundredths short of tying LSU's Haleigh Bryant for the top spot on that apparatus. Overall, the Tigers put together a 49.325 score on floor.

Finally, Helen Hu's 9.975 performance on beam highlighted Mizzou's 49.325 score. The back-to-back SEC Specialist of the Week was crowned the title winner of that event for a third straight meet and has now scored a 9.975 or higher in three consecutive competitions.

However, LSU outscored MU on all four apparatuses during Friday's meet, posting a 49.550 on vault, 49.425 on bars, 49.550 on beam and 49.475 on floor.

Up next - The Tigers are hunting for Braggin' Rights on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. when the team travels to face Illinois.
