Mizzou volleyball battles back to beat Ole Miss in five sets

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

After dropping the first two sets to Ole Miss at the Hearnes Center, on Sunday, the Mizzou volleyball team won the last three-straight to rally its way to a 3-2 win.

It was a career day for two Tigers. Sophomore Janet Demarrais set a new career-high with 30 kills against the Rebels, while fellow sophomore Maya Sands set a new career-high in digs, with 30.

With Sunday's win, first-year head coach Dawn Sullivan and company improve to 12-7 overall and 4-4 in SEC play.

Up next - Mizzou will travel to Alabama for a tough road match on Friday. The Tigers will take on No. 25 Auburn at 6 p.m.
