Outfielder Corey Dickerson and the Washington Nationals have agreed to a one-year contract. The deal is worth $2.25 million guaranteed. Dickerson says he hopes to prove he can still hit for power in his 30s after combining for just 19 home runs the past three seasons. The well-traveled left-handed-hitter hit .267 with 36 RBIs in 96 games in 2022 with the St. Louis Cardinals. Dickerson hopes to play left field more often than not for the Nationals, who have finished last in the NL East each of the past three years.
