Following the end of a regular-season for the record books, Mizzou men's basketball star Mark Mitchell earned a nod from the Southeastern Conference, on Monday.

The forward was tabbed as an Second Team All-SEC selection, after a season that put him on track to be just the second player in school history to lead his team in points, rebounds and assists in a single season. Through the 2025-26 campaign, Mitchell has tallied a team-best averaged of 17.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists.

The Kansas City, Kansas native's 17.9 points per game ranks No. 8 in the conference and is actually the most by a Tiger in 12 years. Mitchell is shooting at a 54.7 percent clip from the field, which ranks No. 3 in the SEC, as well.

But, he's not just a scorer. Mitchell has been one of the most well-balanced players in the nation in his senior campaign. His 113 total assists are sixth-most by a player national that's 6-foot-9 or taller.

It is the second time that Mitchell has earned an All-SEC nod in his career, after he was named Third Team All-SEC in his junior campaign. He and Tiger alum Kobe Brown are the only two Mizzou players to earn multiple all-league honors during Mizzou's 14 seasons in the conference

Up next - Mitchell and his Tigers will return to action on Thursday, as they will take on the winner of Kentucky and LSU at the SEC Tournament. Tip off at Bridgestone Arena is set for 11:30 a.m.
