Mizzou lands commitment from four-star quarterback

ROYERSFORD, Pa. (KMIZ)

One of the nation's top quarterback prospects is committing to Mizzou Football. Matt Zollers, a top 100 recruit and consensus four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, announced his commitment to the Tigers on Thursday afternoon.

According to 247 Sports, Zollers is the top-ranked recruit in the state of Pennsylvania, the No. 6 ranked quarterback in the nation and the No. 62 ranked prospect in the entire 2025 class.

The 6'3", 205-pound quarterback threw 37 touchdowns and posted 2,917 passing yards during his junior campaign, breaking his school's single season record. Zollers also recorded 420 yards on the ground and seven rushing touchdowns in that same campaign. Over his three seasons at Spring-Ford High School, he has also already broken the football program's career passing touchdowns record.

Zollers is the first commitment to Eli Drinkwitz's 2025 recruiting class.
