Official: Mizzou forward enters the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou men's basketball forward Jesus Carralero Martin officially entered the transfer portal on Monday afternoon, according to a team spokesperson.

The news confirms reports of his departure from weeks prior, which means there have now been three players to hit the portal from the program this offseason.

Carralero Martin came to MU ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, after spending four seasons at Campbell. In his time with the Camels, the forward appeared in 78 games, starting in 38.

His role on head coach Dennis Gates' team was a bit up and down. He played in 25 games and made a start in four, averaging nearly 13 minutes per game. He averaged about two points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal per game in his one season in Columbia.

The Spain-native will hit the portal as a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility left to use.
